Guidance Services
Your counselor is available for individual counseling about personal and social issues.
Please ask your teacher for permission to come to the counseling office at any time.

COUNSELOR UPDATES AND INFORMATION, SENIOR INFORMATION, SENIOR SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION
~ Make sure you regularly visit the Counseling Page on the website under the Chaffee Jr/Sr High School Tab.
~ Check out and Like the Facebook page Chaffee Jr/Sr High School Counseling Dept. for important information.
~ Sign up for the School's Mobile App and Alert System.
~ Sign up for the Jr/Sr High School Announcements.
~ Seniors need to check their school mailboxes frequently.


Just a few reminders from the counselor‘s office:
1. SENIORS: Check your school mailboxes daily for senior information.
2. JUNIORS:  Email or see Mrs. Shy if you have questions about classes, credits, ACT, etc.
3. ALL STUDENTS: Check your school email daily if at all possible.  Students may schedule individual conferences (in person or virtual) with the counselor at any time.

All Scholarship Deadlines for the Class of 2022  Scholarships have expired at this time.
Scholarships for the Class of 2023 will be listed when they are made available.


MAP and EOC Testing Dates and Information
~~ Virtual students will receive letters detailing the dates and times they are required to be at school for testing.
~~ Parents are encouraged to make every effort for your student(s) to go to bed early, get a restful night of sleep, eat breakfast (free breakfast is available from the cafeteria) and arrive to school on time.
~~ Students should also bring their fully charged Chromebooks to school each day!  Please see Ms. Mossman ASAP if you are experiencing any technical difficulties, missing a charger, etc.

Meet with your school counselor to ensure that your high school courses are aligned with the requirements for college admission, employment or enlistment.
