Guidance Services
Your counselor is available for individual counseling about personal and social issues.
Please ask your teacher for permission to come to the counseling office at any time.

~ Make sure you regularly visit the Counseling Page on the website under the Chaffee Jr/Sr High School Tab.
~ Check out and Like the Facebook page Chaffee Jr/Sr High School Counseling Dept. for important information.
~ Sign up for the School's Mobile App and Alert System.
~ Sign up for the Jr/Sr High School Announcements.
~ Seniors need to check their school mailboxes frequently.

Just a few reminders from the counselor‘s office:
1. SENIORS: Check your mailboxes and turn in your information cards. Start your FAFSA!
2. JUNIORS:  Email or see Mrs. Dooley if you have questions about classes, credits, ACT, etc.
4. ALL STUDENTS: Check your school email daily if at all possible.  Students may schedule individual conferences (in person or virtual) with the counselor at any time.

Cape Career and Technology Center Applications for 2020-2021
All students interested in applying for Cape Career and Technology Center (CTC) classes for next school year (2021-2022) need to complete the CTC application and submit it to Mrs. Dooley as soon as possible.

Sikeston Public Schools Credit Union Scholarship (Deadline Thursday, April 1) -- Dependents of members of the Sikeston Public Schools Credit Union are eligible to apply for a scholarship. Please see the attached flyer for requirements and application. Deadline for the application is Thursday, April 1.

It's never too early to begin planning for your future! The internet is an invaluable tool as you plan for post-graduation. Begin by researching college websites, career options or military service. Meet with your school counselor to ensure that your high school courses are aligned with the requirements for college admission, employment or enlistment.
